Expandable Paper Mailer Bag (FAQs)
Expandable Paper Mailer Bag (FAQs)

A recyclable alternative to poly mailer bags.

Updated over a week ago

Storage

Paper mailer bags are at risk from environmental conditions like humidity and moisture. Follow these guidelines to prevent any damage and keep them in the best possible condition:

  1. Move your mailer bags inside as soon as possible after delivery to avoid them getting damaged by bad weather.

  2. Store your mailer bags in a dry environment, away from possible sources of moisture like rain, leaks or areas of high humidity.

  3. Store your mailer bags somewhere with a relatively constant temperature. Large fluctuations in temperature can weaken kraft paper.

End of life

Our paper mailer bags are 100% recyclable and widely recycled at the roadside*. You can also print or stick the Mobius recycling symbol on your bag.

*End users should always check with their local authority before recycling.

Features

Our paper mailer bags come with a double peel & seal. A double peel & seal is two self-adhesive strips that allow you to easily and quickly seal your mailer bag without tape. All you have to do is peel the backing paper off and seal the flap. Customers can then open the packaging using the perforated strip.

If a customer needs to return a product, they can use the second self-adhesive strip to seal the original package, avoiding the need for new packaging.

FSC label

An FSC label indicates the forest-based materials in a product are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), a global, non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting responsible forestry.

Our paper mailer bags are certified FSC Mix. This means the kraft paper is from FSC-certified forests, recycled paper and controlled wood. We include the FSC label on our paper mailer bags so your customers know your packaging is certified. You can also market the kraft paper as “from responsible sources”. Learn more
