  9. 2

250gsm (standard) paper is the most cost-effective and sustainable option as it uses the least material. It’s thick but still pliable and commonly used for postcards.
  10. 3

300gsm (premium) is a thicker option for a more premium feel compared to the standard 250gsm paper. 300gsm paper is a good option if you are looking for something a bit sturdier for your cards.
  11. 4

400gsm (luxury) is the thickest option for paper cards. This thickness is often used for premium business cards and high-quality printed materials. Due to its thickness, 400gsm cards can’t be used for folded cards and isn’t available for pearl paper.
  12. Wv

    Water-based varnish

Protects your cards from rain and spillages but doesn't make them waterproof. It also prevents the card’s colour from fading. A water-based varnish doesn't affect recyclability.
  13. Pt

    Print toner

    Used for digital printing.
  14. Si

    Soy-based inks

Made with soy as their primary base, these inks are designed for offset printing. More sustainable than solvent-based inks.
  15. Ui

    UV inks

UV ink is a fast-drying alternative to solvent-based inks. UV ink can be printed on a wide range of materials and creates a vibrant finish. Used in combination with offset printing.

Quality control

Every lot from our suppliers undergoes a quality inspection process before it’s shipped. Any lot that fails quality inspection is returned to the manufacturer or reproduced.

For orders manufactured internationally (outside the UK), we follow the Acceptable Quality Limit (AQL) method defined by ISO 2859 - 1.

For orders manufactured domestically (inside the UK), our suppliers perform the quality inspection process which we then verify through spot checks throughout the year.
