Vegetable-based inksMade with vegetable oils as their primary base, these inks are designed for high-quality offset printing. More sustainable than solvent-based inks.

Carton boxesBelow a certain size, custom inserts may be packed in cardboard carton boxes and stacked onto a pallet. This protects smaller products in transit and allows for more efficient packing, reducing costs and emissions.
Kraft paperCustom inserts produced internationally (and above a certain size) are wrapped in kraft paper as bundles of 20 units. This reduces the risk of surface damage during transit and removes unnecessary plastic.
PalletsThe majority of custom inserts are shipped on standard, UK-sized (1.0x1.2m) pallets to ensure ease of delivery.
Shrink wrap and plastic strapsAny corrugated cardboard packaging stacked on pallets are secured with plastic straps to prevent movement during transit. They’re also shrink-wrapped to protect from dust and scratches. This secondary packaging has a negligible effect on a shipment’s carbon footprint and helps ensure products arrive in the best condition.
DomesticAll domestic transit (UK) is handled by road. Products produced domestically are typically dispatched and delivered 24-48 hours after production is complete.
InternationalAll international transit (Asia) is handled by sea freight. Products produced internationally often have a higher carbon footprint impact than domestically produced products, although they’re normally more cost-effective. Products produced internationally are typically in transit for 6-10 weeks.

Custom inserts are commonly used to secure and showcase products within a mailer box. They can be branded with artwork, logos, instructions and more to create a visual unboxing experience, and they also prevent your product from moving in transit. This reduces the risk of damage and ensures your product is positioned exactly as you want your customers to receive it. Our custom box inserts are 100% recyclable.
It depends on the size of your box and the size of the products or components you want to pack. If you’re unsure where to begin, or need advice, contact us.
