Functionality & style: The new packaging needed to deliver an improved unboxing experience, help ZOE customers navigate the world of at-home diagnostics, and reduce the 7% of customers making errors using the test kits.
From brief to delivery in 12 weeks
A Ragged Edge x Sourceful collaboration: ZOE partnered with Ragged Edge design agency to create a fresh brand identity and packaging concept, then Sourceful got to work on designing and producing 16 new pieces of packaging.
Flexibility was a key priority — with multiple combinations of at-home kits available, ZOE needed modular packaging that they could mix and match per order.
Brand new customisable mailer boxes that create a consistent and high-impact unboxing experience for every customer, every time
A more sustainable solution: Rigid mailer boxes typically use magnets for closure which, while secure, mean the boxes can’t be recycled. Sourceful designed a best-in-class alternative that is magnet-free, flat-packed and recyclable.
The carbon footprint of the magnet-free box is also 66% smaller than the magnetised version.
ZOE’s packaging is now made using 100% FSC-certified cardboard.
The new packaging has become iconic, with ZOE customers posting across social media with the phrase, ‘It’s yellow box day!’.
ZOE is also using Sourceful’s Smart Stock platform to replenish & manage stock in just a few clicks, giving their team an easier, faster and more efficient process.
